Historic Mural Grant Unveiling at North Stafford High School "Traveling through Stafford to North" mural on April 4, 2024. Made possible through collaboration with the Stafford County Museum and Cultural Center @discoverstafford , this mural celebrates our community's rich history, vibrant spirit, and boundless creativity. Curated by esteemed art teachers Carol Coffman and Larissa Lynch, every detail tells a unique story of our past and present. Join us in celebrating this momentous occasion and the incredible talent of Stafford County students and teachers. They have created a masterpiece that not only beautifies North Stafford High School but also serves as a source of pride and inspiration for generations to come.

Anne E. Moncure Elementary unveiled the beginning of a 3-story historical mural in partnership with Discover Stafford and Stafford County Schools The mural was designed and created by Moncure teachers, Ms. Campbell and Mrs. Atkinson.
The mural depicts Pocahontas, Chief Powhatan, Thomas Jefferson, and George Washington with the Chatham Bridge in the background.
